Operationalizing Reentry Programs for People with Behavioral Health Needs

Past Event
April 27, 2021, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, Eastern

Hosted by The Council of State Governments (CSG) Justice Center and Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA)

It can be challenging to operationalize reentry programs for people with behavioral health needs. It requires building cross-system partnerships to identify people with behavioral health needs and make decisions about what services are most needed to support people as they transition back to the community. This webinar discusses lessons learned from planning and implementing behavioral health reentry programs along with considerations for keeping these programs funded in the long term.

The webinar features speakers from Cumberland County, Maine, and the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes who discuss how they have been able to build successful reentry programs for people with behavioral health needs.
